The hat trick is up for Pharmacy music as they deliver the third in their flagship compilation series which showcases the music and artists they have on offer. Putting some punch on the third edition is the mighty talented duo of Fergie & Sadrian…

When it comes to quality underground trance music there is no finer label that Pharmacy Music. It’s the label of Christopher Lawrence who has been driving the underground sound for well over two decades and is as passionate about his music now as he was when he was just a young upstart. Every label needs a showcase for its talents and in the case of Pharmacy you will find that in their ‘Phase’ compilation series. It’s not only a collection of the singles the label pushes out but also a highlight of the DJ talent they have in house as well as the production talent. For their third phase of the compilation series they have enlisted a very talented young duo called Fergie & Sadrian, who are no strangers to the Pharmacy label. You may remember their releases on the label over the past few years with ‘Perlin’ and ‘Little Boy’.

There are plenty of compilations out there on the trance market these days and it might seem like the same old tracks getting mixed up only in a different way. When a Pharmacy compilation gets announced, my ears get excited as you know something different is on the way. It’s a label that Christopher Lawrence started a few years ago and although he had some trouble getting things to take off the label is now in full flight. The spread of artists on the books is a quite impressive one and releases are coming thicker and faster than ever. The underground trance scene is well and truly alive and it’s thanks to artists like Fergie & Sandrain who keep it that way.

The Argentine duo is actually three amigos consisting of the front men Fernando Picciano, Adrian Sartore and their studio partner Emiliano Ayub. I’ve been more than familiar with their productions as they have had a few releases on the label before with one of their most recent ‘Mind Control’ & ‘Pelin’ being featured in this mix. They are very popular back in their home country and one you get stuck into this mix it’s easy to see why. The transitions are perfect and the records they have selected for phase three fit very smoothly together. Don’t think for one moment that just having one label to choose from is any kind of restriction, this is Pharmacy where quality comes with every release.

There are fourteen tracks on offer here with some real beauties on show like ‘Infected Brian’ by Monroe Ramirez and Fergie & Sandrain’s collaboration with Monroe ‘Develish Visions’. It’s a trip down psy trance lane with plenty of acid lines, guitar driven riffs and banging bass lines. This compilation may well be the only one this year that makes you use the repeat function on your chose media player.

Conclusion:
Pharmacy deliver trance as it should and this compilation expertly put together by Fergie & Sadrian is the perfect example of it. Phase three will only get you excited for the next one. This is a mix you really should not be missing out on.
