Liam Wilson has only been around on the trance scene for a few years but has already featured on some of the biggest labels within the scene. His new tune gets the pure trance treatment with an Adam Elis remix to boot…
It’s been a very steady rise to the top for Liam Wilson over the past few years. It’s producers like him that keep the genre fresh and come up with engrossing new melodies with every release. He’s been signed to few notable names with the likes of Discover, Pharmacy Music, Goodgreef and Kill The Lights all featuring a tune or two by Liam. One particular little gem would be Raindrop, released on Discover last which really illustrates his fine craftsmanship behind the production desk. He can DJ a bit and is currently a resident at Rong, which is one of Manchester’s prime trance hotspots. His latest new tune takes bond status as the 007’th release on Pure Trance label, the home of Solarstone.

It’s not going to be a bad tune that gets featured on an Electronic Architecture compilation, as it’s a gathering of only the finest. It’s no surprise then that ‘Kiss’ got slipped into the mix of Solarstone’s third edition and having just one listen to it you will understand why. It’s a blissful blend of gorgeous keys and smooth silky melodies. This is the kind of well constructed track that leaves you with a good feeling. From the very first beat to the very last kick, this is something really special. While the original may be dreamy, Adam Elis remix will slap you awake as it’s a little more up tempo with some whipping acid riffs for good measure. If the mood takes you more thumping than melodic, this is the one you should drop in.
Conclusion:
Liam Wilson has done a good thing here. It’s another example of his production skills and ear for a good melodic trance tune. Those ingredients were taken on board well by Adam Elis who delivers a stunning remix to offer that variety from the original. This is one that you should be putting on the stick.
