Its a very tidy threesome that created the original 'Runaway' with JES, Cold Blue and Dennis Sheperd the trio in question. They have now been joined by a few others for a remixed edition featuring spin offs from Ampersand, Ben Negative, Tenisha and Zetandel Blue...
I do love it when a good few producers come together. The meeting a minds can come up with some very good results, in the case of this release it’s the meeting of mines and voices. JES is a very well established songwriter who has a worked with some of the biggest names in electronic dance music and has released her own solo albums. The two producers she drafted in for Runaway were the German pair of Cold Blue and Denis Sheperd. The end result was a very good one with a superb uplifting vocal trance track which has been campaigned by many of the top DJ’s on the trance scene. Now, there are a few other creative minds looking to put their spin on things with a remix package. Can any top the original, let’s find out?

:: Original Mix :: Ampersand Remix :: Ben Negative Remix :: Tenisha Remix :: Zetandel Blue
The first mix that I go straight into was the Tenishia remix. He’s an artist who I’ve quite like in the past with his blend of very upbeat trance. His mix here is not quite what I would expect; it’s a dark and moody but does make a nice use of JES gorgeous vocal. It’s just a bit to stop start for me to knock this one over the original. The other three mixes really do offer something else. It’s a bouncy house affair with Ben Negative’s progressive effort, which I do quite like. Ampersand delivers a marching band on his mix with the build up. His tweaking of the melody is quite nice though and is the most uplifting out of the three. Zetandel Blue’s mix is juts a pure chill journey from start to end, very relaxing use of the vocal and sounds within the original. If it’s a chill out you need, you can find it with his mix.
Conclusion:
On the whole this is quite a nice remix package with a good spread over the four new mixes. The original for me still remains the mix to go for but these additions are well worth taking a look at with Zetandel Blue's mix my favourite from the offerings.
