© Scott BondThe Militant Artists group have a big announcement this week as they have signed onto the books trance legend Scott Bond. Expect some exciting things from the new singing over the next few months…

Legendary trance DJ, producer and promoter Scott Bond joins Militant Artists: a forward thinking agency which already boasts an array of talent including Manuel Le Saux, Thomas Datt and Lostly amongst others.

Recognised as one of the true pioneers of the trance scene, Scott has been credited with shaping the sound that we all know and love, as well as being the co-founder and driving force behind one of the most well known and successful clubbing brands in the World - Gatecrasher. This earned him the title of "World's Finest Resident" - as voted for by readers in the Mixmag Dance Music Awards, as well as an all time high position of 34 in the annual DJ Mag poll.

Over the years, Scott has performed in more than 40 countries and can count Creamfields, Luminosity, Miami's Ultra Music Festival, Zouk and Ministry of Sound as feathers in his cap.

Scott has been responsible for mixing over 15 albums, including the ground-breaking Gatecrasher Black, Red, Wet and Disco-tech. They went from silver to platinum in less than a year and boasted sales in excess of 1 million units globally. In addition, he has received high praise for his Platinum, AHEAD and Slinky Trans-Atlantik releases and appeared on BBC Radio 1's Essential mix no less than four times.

The accolades don't stop there. Scott's production work has been second to none. 1998 saw the release of his hit single "I'm Not Going Home" under his alias Q:Dos, while 2003 marked the start of many successful collaborations with Solarstone. "3rd Earth" was massive and received support from the biggest names in the industry. Originally a white label release on "Made In England" and then ID&T it eventually found its way on to the world's most prolific Trance label - Armada, with live airplay from the likes of Tiesto, Paul Oakenfold, Paul Van Dyk, Markus Schulz and of course, leading visionary, Armin van Buuren, who created his own exclusive mash up of the song. This featured in every country as part of the ASOT 600 Expedition Tour.

Fast-forward to 2015 and Scott's latest production collaborations with Charlie Walker are again receiving rave reviews, with tracks such as John Lennon - Imagine (Scott Bond & Charlie Walker Remix) [alternatively, see the video on Facebook], Adam White - Ballerina (Scott Bond & Charlie Walker Remix) and Terra Firma - The Adventures Of (Scott Bond & Charlie Walker Remix) garnering support from Trance's finest.

Scott Bond's releases on REBOOTED have ALL been featured as World premieres on "A State of Trance" radio. Van Buuren has not been shy of praise, having referred to Bond as "The legend of Trance" - A delightful compliment, which emphasises a position of sustained greatness. Armin has also shown continued support with an exclusive bootleg of "John Lennon - Imagine (REBOOTED Remix)" which he once again liked so much, he created his own edit which was included on ASOT, Creamfields and his "Armin Only -Intense Tour".

REBOOTED

Scott Bond, the man, who started the Gatecrasher phenomenon all those years ago, is once again bringing the dream alive with his new concept "REBOOTED". This exciting, global initiative aims to break through the barriers of pre-formed ideas and his passion and commitment are evident. When asked to describe REBOOTED as a strategy, this is what he had to say:

"REBOOTED is the act of starting over and rediscovery with the ultimate goal to surpass all perceived benchmarks or expectations. Founding a label is the central part of the plan and will be positioned at the forefront of dance music culture by setting clear, defined targets of where Trance, as a genre is at now and where it wants to be. In other words, it's a brand for a track, a remix, an album, an event and a record label - but also a direction that we can all choose to follow".

:: Preview for the latest REBOOTED single release 'Danny Stubbs Ft. Issa - Voices In The Dark'
