The third single from the Mac & Monday duo is about to land on the Borderline Music label with a superb trance tracked called 'Raysa'. This may well be the best release the label has had all year and those who are serious into trance you will love this...
I do say duo but this year Mac & Monday is now just the sole project off Norbert Darvas after David Nemeth left the group to what my research comes up with as privacy reasons. For those who know their trance they will be familiar with the name as they have been going since 2009. Now in the sole control of Norbert the name remains but a new chapter in trance music has begun. The first being a sensationally tasty trance release on the ever dependable Borderline Music label, one of the most underrated labels out there I’d say.

:: Original Mix :: Intro Mix
I have to say from the very first listen to this it’s a track that got my full attention very quickly. One of the most pure trance tunes I have heard for a while outside the psy influenced stuff that has been very popular this year. This tune goes a little space age old school with some ripping pads and tweaked melodies. You remember the old style Andy Moor vocal effect, well there is a little bit of that in this tune. It’s the vocal sample that doesn’t really say anything but just drives pure uplift. Everything in this tune I like, the bass line, the little riffs that slip in and out and the melodies, it’s superb!
You won’t find any remixes with this, just one original mix and a very inviting intro mix. The original is the one you would put in your USB stick for gigs and the intro is one to enjoy for the pure euphoria of the start. This is one of the freshest trance tracks I’ve listened to all year and while we may be early December it’s a tune of the year contender without a doubt.
Conclusion:
While the Mac & Monday project may be down to just the one artist, the quality of the production has not taken a hit on quality. If anything it has gone up a level because this is simply outstanding. If this is not in your shopping list this week your not really a trance fan.
