 Last year Paul Oakenfold set out on a new adventure by attempting to DJ at base camp Mount Everest for charity. He did it and here is the audio soundtrack to quite possibly his most ambitions mix ever created…
I want to take a moment to thank everyone who supported my newest release, 'Mount Everest: The Base Camp Mix'! Inspired by my Soundtrek adventure, this mix features a selection of my favourite tracks and exclusive releases & remixes from my excursion.
It took two years to map out the 8-day hike that would eventually lead me to perform 17,600 ft above ground. On April 11th, 2017, I completed "the highest party on earth" at Mount Everest’s Base Camp, and for the first time since then I'm sharing a glimpse of my journey with my full-length mix from this day, along with the trailer of my forthcoming documentary.
