The Above & Beyond trio are delighted to announce the launch of their third record label 'Reflections' which is all about the downtempo, chilled and ambient sounds for those really looking to relax. There is a 24/7 radio already live and a whole host of chilled out goodness to sit back and enjoy...
There used to be just the two record labels from Above & Beyond, their main club driven Anjunabeats and the progressive deeper shades of Anjunadeep. Now, there will be a third and its all driven by the downtempo ambient styles which delivers the melodies you know and love but in a very chilled out manner. Music to help you relax, wind down and even sleep if you really enjoy the ambient styles. If your like me you could nod off to anything but for those looking for the ultimate chill this brand new label launching on the 16th May is just the job. The guys talk about the new label in a news release sent out Monday which you can read right below.
Moments In between the dancefloor - Moments of reflection
“Our two record labels, Anjunabeats and Anjunadeep were born on the dancefloor. For over 20 years these labels have taken us, our music and our artists, to dancefloors across the world. The third Anjuna record label is our new downtempo and ambient imprint called Reflections, and we are delighted to share it with you. Reflections is born from all those moments in between the dancefloors - the mornings after, the nights apart, the journeys shared along the way. Those moments of Reflection.”

So whats Reflections all about then?
Reflections is the third label under the Anjuna umbrella, the company founded by two-time GRAMMY-nominated trio Above & Beyond and already home to our much loved labels, Anjunabeats and Anjunadeep. Now, our new imprint will be home to all of the ambient, downtempo and alternative music and artists we love. Expect some familiar faces joining us on this new adventure as well as a fresh wave of artists joining the Anjunafamily ranks in not too long. Watch this space.
Our label boss James Grant says it best:
“Reflections feels like a pretty intuitive thing for us. This is a genre that we have a history in, and one we belong in. If you look back on what we've done, on the Above and Beyond albums, there's always been two or three standout downtempo tracks that have connected really well. What's significant about this is that in all the time we've been doing this, there have been a lot of moments where someone suggested setting up a new label. We've always resisted because we wanted to focus on supporting the artists we have. So we only had two frontline labels: Anjunabeats and Anjunadeep. Reflections is our third frontline label.”
“The beautiful thing is, a lot of our artists were already either making stuff like this, or are fully capable of making great music like this. We've got a ready-made artist base to start from. We’ve always focused on emotional, soulful and melodic dance music, so with Reflections, you could probably just remove the ‘dance’ part here”.

More than music...
We know life can be hectic, especially at the moment. So while you wait for new music, we have created a series of mood mixes and playlists for you to explore. Handcrafted by us to help you sleep, focus and relax.
“The feedback that we sometimes get is that there is a therapeutic side to music, and this particular type of music is relaxing. People are overstressed and over-adrenalised in the online world that we live in. The world does need more music like that. That’s what Reflections is here to do.”
