doesn't it suck?? it affects my whole life, work, school, hobbies, and so forth

i wont tell all the details, but i'm in love with this girl, and she just started a new relationship...

suggestions on what i should do would be highly appreciated

Try to put her out of your mind and focus on something else. Life is as it is that we can't always have the one we want. If its meant to be it will happen, if not it wont.

girls want what they can't have, don't be pathetic and give yourself more credit. if you really love her.. be there for her and ask about her relationship with that guy.. from that , you will get an indication of whether or not she has moved on.. but neve3r make it too obvious .. if you want her back try to move on, ironcially that's the best thing to do.. move on and mkae yourself a better man, and even if she wanted you back by that time.. you won't really give a shit b/c by then you would of found someone else or havegotten over her... mabye by then you'd feel you're too good for her too... the trick is to not make her regret going out with you... think about it, hope it works out

Go across her path, dont say a thing, put on a vague smile....

She will contact you, ask whats the matter, you say you are busy and cannot talk right now, call tomorrow... that leaves her time to think, and now you know she cares about your feelings. Think about your situation, feelings and how she sounded on the phone/or however she contacted u.

She will call you the following day, or the day after she may feel intimidated by your actions, but it leaves her a little more vulnurable, then let her know you may have feelings for her but are unsure... This is the best thing to tell her so that she doesnt know either, however still knowing that there is a possibliity... Curiosity is the way out of this one I think... But I dont know enough about the situation to give a full anwer... Ive never been turned down by a girl, not because im a model, but because I know how to work people... that was also a factor into how I opened my own bar at the age of 17!... Smile

But nayway, if u wish to spill the beans in a PM then do so and ill give you the lowdown on what I think...

Been there, done that, not amused when it did happen, heck it might happen again....who knows.

See I normally make a mistake by dropping far too many hints before that happens.

It sucks, you get jealous and angry and want that person to fail in that relationship. I think it is pathetic but then again, it is human nature.

Current girl I wish to date, I'm best friends with and I dropped a hint about a month ago and she responded she did not have those feelings for me. I was gutted but then again, ol me decided you know what, be friends for now (I at least gained a good friend out of this....so it was not that bad) then I told her the whole truth about why i liked her and stuff...she respected that and respected my brutal honesty and who knows what happens in the future. Then she calls me last week saying I'm the only one that listens to her...goes on and on and on about things, which I won't discuss. So how knows, maybe her feelings changed? then again life is all about relationships and emotions and we all deal with them. Being in my early 20's, I am like a lot of ppl...wondering who is the one...it's never bloody easy tim. Do what i did, just wait it out but don't get angry, hopefully you are still friends, so you do have something. It does not help things out that the girl is dating someone else when you want her for yourself. I find when this stuff happens, this is when relationships get trashed and fights happen. So patience, remember you are young and have a ton of things ahead of you.

i find that 'love' is usually just infatuation...and that is best combated by focusing on all her bad points

I remember their was girl i fancied last year she was beautiful & intelligent but it wasn't to be and i was gutted for weeks but i realised that eventually ill find someone else and by pondering on it I was engrossing myself in a vicious circle. So i decided to go out with my friends and continue to enjoy my life and make the best of been single (after all it's a lot less stress and cheaper too) Wink

I was starting to fall in love with my best female friend a few years ago, but luckily we didn't go any further and just stayed best friends. Only sad thing is she moved to England so I haven't seen her for 3 years...last time I saw her was a couple of weeks before my wedding Smile
