House Music

[nickybon]

Hey guys, I've been reading some of the discussions.. and there is not much topics about house music compared to that of Trance nd Techno...

Whats wrong with House Music? Yes to be honest I love house.. I just bought the Clubbers Guide 06 (good tunes on it) and I like it! I used to really follow Trance, still do, such as Tiesto!

The problem that there isnt much "publicity" into Trance anymore and Im ending going to clubs..listening to all types of Music and forgeting all about the magic and colours of Trance!

What to do???

1st you should get some decent house tunes - clubbers guide is pink and fluffy comercial soul destrying house/trance.

Try some of the subliminal series, anything by Angello & Ingrosso or a bit more progressive try the new 'This Is Everybody On Tour' album or YK4 Mixed by Nubreed.

Trance being less 'public' is a good thing; because when it becomes more public it becomes commercial and you have to rely on clowns like Judge Jules for airplay, which is then usually mainstream tunes or mainstream remixes.
Try looking on Juno for some decent trance or the Trance Nation cd advertised on here. Mixmag sometimes have a decent list of new releases - but they tend to favour melodic, subtle and laidback trance rather than banging, uplifting, dark and filthy tunes which is the better, less commercial stuff.
