i guess this post is to try and find out a little bit more about you guys... this is mainly a trance forum - but it isnt just about trance! what are your favorite albums? my honest top five favorite albums dont include trance... music is pretty much what i love and inspires me but its all about the different styles and feelings different styles make me feel...

ok, a few of my favorite albums:

01. Cooper Temple Clause - Kick Up The Fire And Let The Fire Break Loose
this is my favorite album of all time - and my favorite band. they combine an indie/rock sound with electronica - not synth/elctro keyboards but lots of reverb, techno infused beats and effects... a good example is 'Into My Arms' on this album...

02. Massive Attack - 100th Window
Massive Attack are just amazing... cant really say much more to justify why this is also amazing. Check out 'Antistar'.

03. Linkin Park - Reanimation
its Linkin Park i know, and im sorry but i do really like them... this is an album of remixes off the first album... some really cool rap and hip hop versions plus some nice alterations...

04. Boards Of Canada - Geogaddi
BOC are pure brilliance - these (in my opinion) are better than Prodigy and Faithless. BOC's latest album 'Campfire Headphase' is another masterpiece and is really one of my top5 albums already also...

05. Way Out West - Way Out West
another lush, sunset induced dance album... old skool WOW! this album is fantastic...

recent albums like Nathan Fake's 'Drowning In A Sea Of Love', Porn Sord Tobacco's self titled album and of course BOC's 'Campfire Headphase' were close contenders (amazing due to how new they are!) and then albums by Leftfield and Cinematic Orchestra also got a consideration... Interpol 'Turn On The Bright Lights' is a great indie album too.

01. Ulrich Schnauss - Far Away Trains Passing By

Never met anyone that truely hated this album, and the recent two-disc re-release makes it a must-have for any collection.

02. Jin - The Emcee's Proper?Ganda

After his first rather dissapointing release, Jin finally does an album that "feels" right. In a scene dominated by rappers talking shit about big buisness while signed to big labes, Jin is one of the few to actually quit a big label - quite a move on his part, and certainly for the better.

03. Adam F - Colours

Imagine LTJ Bukem, add a dash of Photek and Roni Size, and top it off with a pinch of Dieselboy.

04. Tom Middleton - Sounds of the Cosmos

The first mix-CD on the Hooj record label, and easily one of the best mix-albums out there. I know it's a mix-album, but I really had to add it.

05. Pole Folder - Zero Gold

Do I really need to say anything about this album?

my top 5 albums arnt trance, infact...

1. Bowling for soup - Drunk enough to dance
a band going on about girls girls and girls, always puts a smile on my face, such an underrated band when compared to the likes of blink182 or sum41

2. Avril lavigne - let go
an amazing album which is just wow, not a track is shite, tracks like complicated which were released to not even ompared to the ones on the album like tomorro.

3. Clubland extreme
This just fires me up and gets me in the moad, fast musi, hard kicks with some cheesy and some nie melodies and riffs, i usualy listen to this mostly when im about to go out, this and tidy volume 4

4. Limpbizkit - signicant other
just music, if you get beating up one day like i did, many times, then stick this on and let out the shit in you and smash some things up. my fav track being 9teen90nine

5. eminem - the eminem show
production wise its his best, lyrics wise i think so but die hard rap fans will disagree, every song is singe potential and i tihnk one of the bets hip hop albums out, yes ommercial but thats me all over

my all time fav song - DJ Ross, emotion

Dont think i could name them in order but here is one of my favourites:

Chemical Brothers - Surrender
Such a good selction of tracks on here. hey boy hey girl! There are some really nice slow chilled tracks on here like Asleep One day. I love this album.
