**GATECRASHER ANNOUNCES £5 MILLION INVESTMENT IN BIRMINGHAM NIGHT CLUB**

World famous lifestyle club brand Gatecrasher, today announced its acquisition of Birmingham’s 2400-capacity nightclub The Works. The late night venue operator intends to invest £5 million pounds on the Broad Street site transforming it into a Luxury Nightclub. The club will now be closed until its official re-launch in the late Summer, with a red-carpet VIP opening expected at the end of September.

The venue will be stripped back to its foundation walls and completely redesigned and rebuilt into a designer led, state of the art, multi-level club unlike any other in the UK. Gatecrasher is working with a team of internationally renowned designers to create a futuristic and radical scheme with stunning bespoke features. The super-club will take decadence to a new level surpassing expectations with world-class production, luscious décor and sensational sounds to suit all tastes.

Gatecrasher remains one of the most potent and recognisable names in world clubbing and currently owns four nightclubs throughout the UK. This is the third club to be branded with the Gatecrasher name alongside Gatecrasher Seven in Leeds and GatercrasherLovesNottingham. The company also owns Area nightclub in Watford, which will undergo a substantial refurbishment and rebrand in the near future.

Designed by legendary US venue interior designer and club owner Cal Fortis, the interior of Gatecrasher Birmingham is going to be an assault on the senses, we have spared no expense in creating the most impressive, awe-inspiring club space that you will have ever dreamed of.

The venue is split over 3 floors with over 10 different uniquely designed areas, each area has it’s own carefully thought out theme and ideology which have been meticulously perfected to inspire, amaze and enjoy.
