Post subject: Monster Tunes News and Forthcoming Releases July ‘05 |
|
|
July’s update from Monster Tunes brings us news of some massive new releases on the imprint, with great tracks from big names and some more surprises in store!
Sonorous – Protonic
Label – Monster Force
Release – 18th July 2005
Released 3 years ago on Euphonic to huge acclaim from DJs and clubbers alike, this classic has been dusted down for 2005. The awesome Ronski Speed remix from the original release is here, but the real star of the show is the Leama & Moor remix on the A. Big support from everyone including Armin, Above & Beyond, Gabriel & Dresden and a feature on Jon O’Bir’s Essential Mix on Radio 1.
NuNrg – Dreamland EP
Label – Monster Tunes
Release – 25th July 2005
Following on from the re-release of the Italian guys’ most loved track to date, Monster brings you the Dreamland EP. The A Side is the eagerly anticipated NuNrg 2005 mix of the seminal classic, while the B is a fresh new production; Atomo, which has been going down a storm in recent livesets.
Luke Terry presents Elude – Fareday
Label – Monster Pure
Release – 30th August 2005
Luke Terry’s newest track comes on the back of huge releases from Dyyni, Yahel, Aava and Deepwide on Monster Pure. The original is a restrained yet uplifting number similar in style to Paul van Dyk’s tracks a couple of years back, while the remix from Chris Shepherd has more of an edge and will suit peak time plays.
Brisky – Celestial
Label - Monster Tunes
Release – 5th September 2005 on 2x 12”
Label manager Brisky’s debut single is a huge uplifting number with a big riff and sweet chord changes. The remix package backs up the original’s euphoria, with John O’ Callahan adding his style to proceedings, Sundawner slowing things down for a deeper journey and newcomers TC&P pumping out a belting tech remix. This has also been picked up by Ferry Corsten for his forthcoming Creamfields CD.
As if these weren’t enough, new tracks from Fred Baker, Kuffdam & Plant, Mystery Islands, Will Holland and Deepwide are on the horizon, as well as a new Monster Sampler Series which will showcase up and coming talents and previously unreleased remixes.
