Halcyon once again well and truly delivers a sensational event at Matter, at the UK's number one dance music venue. We sold out in November, we sold out in March and with hype already building I reckon you should get in quick before you miss out....

Headlining our May event we welcome back the unmissable Infected Mushroom, who will be performing as the full live band playing a full 2 hour LIVE showcase. If you did not see these guys at our event in November then this your chance to see the number 1 psychedelic band in the world!

Talamasca will be making his hotly anticipated debut at Halcyon. Talamasca is one of the most requested live acts at all big psy festivals such as full-moon festival, Samothraki or Boom festival in Europe, Eclipse, the biggest electronic festival in Canada, Chemical sound festival in Rio, Goa sound festival in Mexico, Fuji festival in Japan, and he will be now touching down from France on the legendary main stage at Matter.

Following in the theme of Halcyon events where we like to build a musical journey showcasing the very best of all kinds of psy we are proud to announce another debut in the form of the massive progressive psy act ATMOS from Sweden. Under this trademark, Atmos has released 4 albums, loads of singles and has made countless appearances on compilations but more important - his music has been embraced, played and loved by such a broad spectrum of people, ranging from the top 10 djs to aspiring bedroom djs all over the world. He has also been touring all over the world covering every single major festival and event for well over 12 years. His sense for merging rhythm programming with delicate strings into a well-produced groovy sound is guaranteed to make everyone get down to the dance floor and that has made him an installment to count on...

Magnetix - James Lawson – The Sixth Sense – 30th April @ Club 414

Spring is officially here, the days are getting warmer and longer and you wouldn’t know it, but we’re slowly creeping out of the “recession”. Now if those 3 things don’t make you want to go out and party like it’s 1999 then we don’t know what will! So without anymore fuss, brace yourself for news of the April 30th instalment of Magnetix!

We’re very proud to have none other than James Lawson headline this event. Anyone who was around back in the days of Camden Palace will testify to this mans genius, both in the studio and behind the decks, and we’re bringing him and his new Psy Trance sound to Brixton’s favourite venue, just for you!

We also have a UK Exclusive with The Sixth Sense joining us all the way from Venlo in Holland. The label manager for Nero Records has been busy very since he burst onto the scene, and with the many original Hard Trance productions and remixes behind him over the last 5 years meant that we just had to offer him his first ever UK set.

Another DJ from foreign shores will also be joining in is Pan, the main man behind Chemistry. Having rocked the Psy scene in Oz for ages he moved to London for more of the same, so we’re extremely happy to have secured his services for the evening.

We’re also very happy to announce the return of a Magnetix resident and former favourite, Mat Lock. Recently back from his worldy travels we’re sure he has plenty of tall tales to tell, but also lots of even better Trance to play, and he’ll be doing so for the first 2 hours to get things off with a bang.

Keeping things a little closer to home, our final guest of the evening will be Latex Zebra. Founder of Zoology, the 414's longest running monthly promotion makes this man a bit of a legend in our eyes so we could hardly say no when his services became available to us.

Of course no Magnetix would be complete without our trio of residents, Phil Lankester, Dean Zone and Andy Forse, and don’t forget the free after party Rubix if you’re still wanting more come 6am. When Infected Mushroom made their debut at matter for Halcyon in Nov 2009 we literally could not print the tickets fast enough!

7 weeks to go now and the pace is picking up nicely with all £8 tickets sold out in less then 24hours, all £12 tickets sold out in less then 2 weeks.

Tickets are now priced at £15 and these are literally flying out of the door with over 40% of advanced tickets sold and still nearly two months to go!
