STELLAR LINE UP ANNOUNCED FOR ESCAPE INTO THE PARK 2010

Some of the world’s biggest dance music icons will be headlining this year’s Escape Into The Park which returns to Swansea on Saturday June 12.

British trance group Above & Beyond will be joined by Swedish House Mafia god, Steve Angello and legendary DJ Judge Jules on the main stage as over 20,000 music fans are expected to flock to the city’s Singleton Park for the 11-hour event, which is nationally recognised as being the biggest event in the Welsh clubbing calendar.

Escape Into The Park 2010 boasts a stellar line-up of over 40 UK and international world-class DJ’s and acts across five stages including Escape Into The Park stalwarts Andy C, Darren Styles, Scratch Perverts and Lisa Lashes.

Commenting on headlining this year’s Escape into the Park, Judge Jules said: “I’ve played at Escape Into The Park many times over the years and it is without doubt one of the UK’s clubbing highlights of the year. I’ve played at all the best clubs and nights across the world and Escape Into The Park is easily up there with the best for having an amazing crowd. The atmosphere is always electric and it just keeps on getting bigger and better every year.

“I’m really looking forward to returning to Swansea’s Singleton Park – let’s hope the sun shines!”

Following on from the success of last year’s event, we will once again be bringing the hottest acts in dance music to Swansea for what will be another day to remember. The combination of these top name DJ’s and the beautiful
setting that is Singleton Park will once again help to make Escape Into The Park an unforgettable occasion.

The Godskitchen main stage will be home to Above & Beyond, Steve Angello and superstar DJ Judge Jules who will be spinning all the latest and greatest club and house classics. Also featuring on the Godskitchen main stage will be Scratch Perverts, Steve Smart and Neil Navarra.

The Bionic arena will bring a handpicked selection of the most respected Hardstyle artists with the sounds being provided by over ten acts throughout the day including Technoboy, Trance Generators and Cally and Juice.

For the first time, this year sees the Polysexual and Uproar arenas combine to provide an intriguing musical stand off between the likes of Lisa Lashes, Tidy Boys, Hixxy & Recon and DJ Sy.

Another first for 2010 is the CYNT stage featuring the finest drum and bass artists on the scene right now including Andy C, Friction, Hype and Nero.

The VIP area, which has become an institution in its own right over the years, will feature its own arena with guest DJ’s yet to be announced. As well as enjoying a more intimate music experience in the VIP arena, VIP guests also benefit from a seated area to rest those legs, a car parking area and priority access to the festival.
