Not so long ago we witnessed Rod V's first contribution to Silk Sofa – his intriguing remix of djSaint's "Souls". Now the Guatemalan artist is ready with his own 3-track EP entitled "Sueños De Color", which is Spanish for "Dreams In Color". First up is "Burbujas En El Aire", which starts off with some quite interesting percussion elements, and soon a gorgeous pad line emerges, combined with a smooth, deep bassline. The light theme melody softly heightens the atmosphere of the track, and the breakbeat in the background helps keeping the energy in place.

"Miradas De Sol" quickly introduces a lush, rolling bassline as well as a few rather enjoyable pad layers that harmonize beautifully with the bassline note changes. Later, a hypnotizing lead emerges, the 'static' sound of which takes the listener's interest to a whole new level. Many variations to the beat and numerous sound effects also spice up the overall sound.

As the last track we have "Viviendo Los Tiempos". Its innovative intro is just one of the many great things in the song; the introductory lead sound on top of the beat as well as the countless synth layers combine uniquely. As the track progresses, numerous variations are made to the chords, and these are all-the-more intriguing when simultaneous energy level shifts are occurring.
