Post subject: Recording & Production Help |

Hello.
I've been spinning records for almost 8 years now and am currently recording mixes using ACID 4.0. I'm encountering some problems which include:
1. I cannot put tracks in my mixes without pauses being placed in between songs
2. My recordings are coming out in monaural even though I'm running a stereo RCA cord (which melds into a 1/8" mike plug) into my sound card
3. I have a LOT (at least 50%) of mixes that error out during the burn process even with the speed slowed down to 1X
I also am in highly interested in producing original music. I'm very musically oriented and have produced songs on primitive equipment thus far. I would like any and all input on possible equipment and/or software options I have that would allow me to construct high quality sounds.
Thank you very much for your time - anything you can tell me will be greatly appreciated. S
