Post subject: best software for making mixes? |
|
|
currently i'm using Cool Edit Pro 2.0...
it's extremely time consuming, because everything is basically trial and error when it comes to slowing or accelerating a song, and matching beats together based on simply looking at the shape of the waveform...it's easy to get a good guess but takes hours to get a perfect transition from one song to another...
i'm convinced that there is a simpler, more efficient way, either in the program i'm using, or by using another one.
is there any software that has an accurate bpm counter or a beat-matching tool?
any software people would recommend for making mixes?

MIXMEISTER PRO works best ....not like real Vinyl though ..but good for making mixes on your Computer..better than Cool Edit.

mixmeister(sp?) is good
Traktor too, probbaly closer to vinyl/cd deck mixing than mixmeister.
personally for me, a cement mixer does wonders, toss the records and cds in and pour out, instant mix, you didnt say it had to sound good

Personally, I think that AtomixMP3 is very easy to learn and incredibly efficient. I have spent many hours playing with that program just for fun. I really can't imagine using CEP... hehe, that would take FOREVER.
