I dont watch what I eat, but i compensate for that with exercise, everybody tells me i waste my time doing all the exercise when i eat so much stuff like that. But thats the only thing keeping me doing my exercises! Smile

I only exercise to justify what I eat! Razz

People need to watch what they eat regardless of physical condition.

Does it matter? You stop the exercise, you build up weight. People need to think ahead not just the now. I gained weight due a drug I had been taking for a medical condition which I simply won't discuss and I injured my knee, so I could not run. I hit 224 at one point, then one day, I went to the doctor and fed up as I was, I knew I could change my habits...it was not just about getting thin, it was about healthy habits. Look at me now, 1.4 yrs later...down to 176....6 more to go....back to jogging 2-3 miles a day, back to healthy eating..and I look amazing now...now I'm in remarkable shape...such remarkable shape...i plan to run a marathon in 2005 or 2006. I consider what I eat because I need to think about the future.

Favourite foods:

Pizza
Tacos
Kebab
Chinese
Thai

It's not very healthy food, i know Sad
Still, it's not what I eat everyday either...

However, I am overweight and have tried various ways of weight reduction. So far I've only managed to stabilize my weight but it seems my body doesn't burn any more calories and fat even if i do exercise.
I biked to work every day this summer, ate a lot less but still I only stayed put on the weight. Now I've started driving to work and weight is still the same.

Andy, if you got any good tips for me let me know!

You mean like Saindburys range of "Be Good To Yourself" range. Its bollocks, they hardly give you anything for your money.

Thinks, cut out salt outta the diet.....

add more fruits and vegetables

take up exercise daily....either walking or running or both...

as my doctor says....sweaty exercise daily helps....

and stay with it....should see results....
