In ireland alcohol is very expensive... how much do u pay?

Ireland:
WKD, Smirnoff Ice, VK, etc alcopops - €5.00+
Budweiser 330Ml Bottle & similar Beers - €3.50+
All Pints Of Beer & Largars - €3.60+
Pint Bottle Cider - €4.90+
Normal Cider Bottle - €3.90+
Pint Cider from Tap - €3.90
33.5ml shot vodka - €3.10
Aftershock - €5.00
RedBull - €3.50 or €4

This makes a popular drink like vodka & redbull cost around €7.00

I know there are many more but these are just of the top of my head!

I don't drink alcohol anymore, such a waste of money. The government taxes the bloody thing to death and does it help your body anyway? No...yes some people will pull the studies out that wine and alcohol prolong your life but does it? Everyone who drinks that I know...either has health problems or died early. I gave up alcohol before I lost the weight then again I'm in such amazing shape at this moment, why go back to it? I rather drink water (8 glasses a day!)

geee... and i thought drinks here in singapore were expensive. upon conversion, i think your prices would seem to be a tad cheaper.

Generally you can double Steven's prices to get the prices we have in Norway....you can be lucky and get a beer for €5 during happy hours or something...but normally it's €6 or above.

When I was a student a few years ago we got the a beer for €3.50, but it arose to over €4 before my studies ended.

Then again, I almost never drink when I'm out. If I wanna get drunk I drink before going out as that's a lot cheaper. Usually buy beer and cider in Sweden at lower cost, but you can't bring very much over the border each visit...

It's strange btw, Norwegians travel to Sweden to get cheap alcohol and meat. Swedes go to Denmark and Finland. Finnish ppl go to Latvia, Danish people travel to Germany...

Yes we travel to northern Ireland [About 1 hour drive from here], so that is owned by the UK,

Northern Ireland:
Alcopops - 1.50
Beers - 1.20
Vodka - 1.00

And this is prices in bars, everything goes that cheap! then the off licences are cheaper again with beers from 60cent Smile

Local club on cheap night:

Selected Bottles £1, other bottles £1.50
All pint a shots £1

Normal night about £3-4 a bottle.

Local pub its £2.16 for a pint.

In Leeds now most clubs have all inclusive deals, £10 all you can drink just abit hard to get to the bar Razz

its proper mental that all u can drink at majesticks used to gan every friday in the last 2 months of uni (around march-may) used 2 get in right state...the good old days eh

space on a wed were i gan every week does good deals aswel 2.4.1 on fosters and carling bottles @ £2, £1.20 vodka and mixer. £2. vodka redbull....same goes 4 incision @ paradise every 4th friday ....class deals belter choonage and djs (hard house, hard trance)
