70 something pence around... i dont think its hit 80p yet...
... i dont really take much notice... if i need petrol i just go to nearest petrol station.. dont bother shopping around for cheapest cos they are all same really within 1p/ litre and that makes fuck all difference...

Gasoline and Diesel, it's not about cost if you don't realize the difference.
Gasoline is a lower compression fuel and needs a spark plug to ignite the air fuel mixture but gas contains more additives and normally is more expensive
Diesel is a higher compression fuel and needs NO spark plug to ignite. Contains less additives and usually is cheaper. Higher Compression gives you more power (most of the time) and that's why trucks use them.
then again you realize that in Ireland, you import most of your gasoline where as in Canada, we don't import much but most of the price is TAX.

Petrol prices, thats what puts me off getting me driving test passed. I know as soon as I do I've gotta pay for me own insurance on the car and the petrol in it, proper downer.
So for now im eeking out the last few months of pedetriasation, at least until I've finished me DJ booth

THink it 79.9 or something like that allthough I've seen places charging over 80 and in extreme places in the 90's.

I've heard that the UK's driving test is one of the most strict in the world... Is that true?

i doubt it
Ontario's is very strict because it takes so long to get out of graduated licensing.
