Premier League 2003/2004

We had a topic about this last year too....and it was pretty popular...so I'm starting a new thread for this season Smile

Only added the top teams from last season in the poll...as the list would be too long otherwise Razz

Anyway...it's interesting to see many new faces in the league this year...Chelsea's rich uncle have given them a real boost with many world-class players in the squad...but will it be enough to beat Arsenal and ManU?

Frankly I'm not sure...if the world-class players don't play well together it's no use having them at all...guess we'll see in a few months how they do...Btw, I read today that if they're not number 1 by Christmas they will double the spendings on new players during the mid-season transfer window...

The other teams haven't had many major changes this year...but a few interesting ones...Personally I'm very anxious to see how Blackburn will do without Berg, Duff and Dunn....so far it seems good and with the latest additions of Barry Ferguson and Dino Baggio they might fight for a Champ.League place this season too Smile

What are your thoughts about this season?

I think that Chelsea might be dangerous with all the new palyers but the thing that could happen is that they don't find any harmony in the team..

United without Beckham can be dangerous.. I'll think that it will stand between United, Arsenal and Chelsea.. I hope that United will win Wink

Tho I can't say that Iäm that into the Premier League.. Loads of things are going on in the "Allsvenskan" @ the mo Wink

Even if chelsea dont win it, they can always literally buy a premier league trophy. They have to be a contender, with all the money spent on new players, Crespo inparticular, one of the finest strikers in the world.

As a Liverpool fan Im sticking with the good reds. There time will come again, they just need to be consistant and not fall to bits like they did the back end of last season. COuld do with a couple of new signings to get the team up to scratch, I dont rate Kewell at all, very average player in my book.

get Steve Mac back on the attack, class player when he was with the club and I for one would love him to come back.

i voted for Arsenal above...as I think they will win...

however...I do hope Blackburn will make it to the top...but it's not very likely...would also like to see Liverpool up there...but I'm afraid they will end up a few places down like they've done the past seasons... Confused

good thing is that I will be able to watch most games on TV this season after gaining access to some German, Dutch and French tv-channels Razz
