well.. at mp3.com under the heading "electronic" it brings up the following sub genres...

Ambient
Breakbeat/Breaks
Dance
Down Tempo
Drum N' Bass
** Electronica **
Experimental
Game Soundtracks
House
Industrial Electronic
Techno
Trance

and then under "electronica" there is

Progressive Electronica
Symphonic Electronica

.. so theres some info on it... altho i still aint got a clue what an electronica song sounds like Razz ... lol

as far as I've always known, electronica is anything what comes into the category like house garage hardcore jungle old skool breakbeat chilled and everything really Confused

electronica falls under the catogory electronic.. as does trance, techno, dance e.t.c...

Electronica is pluralis of electronic....which means all kinds of electronic music....

On the mp3.com example above it should say *Other electronica*....not electronica.....since all the genres listed under Electronic is in fact Electronica Smile

now that wasn't at all hard to understand, was it ? Razz
