The first film in what has been a long running series was on the telly the other night. In terms of films they might be the film equivilant or Scooter but I love all the police acedemy films.

Mayby its just an aquired taste, but anyone else a fan of this cheesy police film comrdy?

I haven't seen them, but one time I was flipping through Lenard Maltin's movie guide and he gave pretty well the whole series a BOMB rating. One of the reviews, I can't remember which one, said "More of the same, only worse" and that was the whole review.

the first 6 are all funny, classics, go down in history, love or hate them, a lot of ppl in my generation grew up watching it all Very Happy

The films were and good in the day but even then it was an aquired taste. If the films were made today they wouldn't stand much chance.
